Cannot open ESET Smart Security on Windows 10

Before I upgraded Windows 10 on my laptop I made sure that my Eset Smart Security was updated. Now, my laptop in running Windows 10 and have ran Windows update. I cannot open and access the Eset program installed in my laptop.What do I have to do to re mediate the issue.

So you don't see ESET on the Start screen ? If you run "sc query ekrn" do you get a message that it's running, stopped or that such service doesn't exist? Anyways, the quickest solution would be to download ESS 8.0.319 from ESET's website www.eset.com and install it.
