Fakhry 3
Apps updates freezes on 0.0 MB and mail app not refreshing. Why this problem related to eset smart security? Because the updates and mail app worked without problems after I uninstalled Eset. I'm using lastest Eset Version btw.
Administrators Marcos 5,295 Posted August 11, 2015 Administrators Share Posted August 11, 2015 By latest version you mean 8.0.319? Does temporarily disabling firewall or protocol filtering in the advanced setup make a difference?
ClickMotions 0
I can confirm this, almost all Universal App's have huge problems regarding Internet Access while ESET SmartSecurity is running.Disabeling the Firewall does not fix the problem, however completly disabling ESET does resolve the issue. ClickMotions 0
Just tried disabling Protocol Filtering and then various other functions. Makes absolutly no difference.Mail still crashes instantly upon loading (Showing it last updated my Mail days ago) and Store is unable to download any Apps yet can otherwise show Apps and their respective pages. ClickMotions 0
I just switched to WiFi and this issue resolved. Only appears to occur with connections other than WiFi and Ethernet. ESET appears to break the new Metered Connection bandwidth system in Windows 10 causing lack of internet connectivity in Universal Apps.
