jimwillsher 65
With ERA6, is there a way to force it to realise that a new client is available? EEA 6.2.2021 was released five days ago, but when I view any computer in ERA6 and look at Installed Applications, ERA6 reports 6.1.2227 is installed "and up to date", when clearly it's not. I know I can manually download etc., but do I need to flush ERA6 somehow? Many thanks Jim
Administrators Marcos 5,257 Posted August 3, 2015 Administrators Share Posted August 3, 2015 There's no way to automatically upgrade Endpoint on clients to the latest version, mainly for safety purposes. New versions may introduce new issues despite in-depth pre-release testing so rolling them out within a very short time to all users would be a bad idea. By "up to date", you probably refer to the virus signature database.
jimwillsher 65
Thanks Marcos but no, I was clearly refering to the product version. But the same question has been asked herehttps://forum.eset.com/topic/5548-era-av-repository/and herehttps://forum.eset.com/topic/5544-era-6-doesnt-show-newest-endpoint-security-version/Both of which were asked after my posting. Hopefully we'll see the repositories updated soon. Thanks anyway Jim
