running VPN with ESET smart security?

How can I successfully run my VPN while using ESET program? Also why does it need my MAC OS X built in firewall down for it to run? Does it hinder how the program works or something?

If you are using Cyber Security Pro, you will be asked to disable OS X's built in firewall to avoid possible conflicts and issues that may occur having two firewalls running at the same time. Cyber Security Pro already has rules for VPN that allows these connections by default, so ideally it should already allow you to use your VPN without any issues.

 

Is there anything specifically for the VPN and Cyber Security Pro that you are having any trouble or concerns with?
