ESET Moderators Peter Randziak 1,083 Posted June 10, 2015 ESET Moderators Share Posted June 10, 2015 ESET Mail Security 6 for Microsoft Exchange Server BETA is available for testing via the Centercode platform. What's new Local quarantine management Offers better control of suspicious messages with separate web-based user “spambox”-interface where lost emails can be re-delivered provided they do not pose a security threat with no interaction on administrator’s part. Component-based installation Customize your deployment during installation and remove components your server will not need. Message processing rules Offers fine-tuned control of mail-flow depending on specific communication channels scenarios in every organization and IT-teams can respond to all requests in routing mails based on various conditions and message parameters. Database on-demand scan Restrict scanning operations to particular mailboxes or database. Automatic exclusions Can detect server roles or 3rd party software known for regular conflicts with antivirus engines and backed by internal research, all sensitive files are excluded from scanning to avoid service degradation. Together with Process exclusions where additional executable files can make use of privileged handling and thus avoid inspection of trusted services, this is a valuable addition for overall server stability. Improved application user interface Navigate faster in re-designed user interface and find relevant settings in the product with minimum effort. Native clustering for multi-node deployments Link servers to a mesh that will synchronize configuration of each node automatically. ESET Log Collector Collect all relevant diagnostic information and product logs with ease. Windows Management Instrumentation connector Feed product state information and logs to a dedicated tool using WMI-framework. Advanced Memory Scanner Add another layer of malware detection for your server with active memory background scan. ESET Shared Local Cache extension Speed up any scan by sharing results across your network. ESET Mail Security 6 for Microsoft Exchange Server Online help is available here.
