ssl blocking every page in firefox

Recommended Posts

out of the blue this morning every page, literally every single page had the untrusted warning in forefox. when i checked the cert it was eset's. i disabled the inject into browser and all pages load fine now.

Doesn't it work with IE either? Does re-enabling SSL scanning with all browsers closed make a difference? Couldn't it be that you disabled and re-enabled this feature while having the browser running?

ie11 works fine only firefox. and no i tried to re-enable it with the browser closed same result. im on firefox 39 beta 3 (also tried with curent 38 stable version). also uninstalled v9 with the uninstaller and reinstalled. same result happened after a while i was browsing and out of no where it just started to say every page was untrusted. disabled the inject again and all was fine.

It sounds like the ESET root certificate is not kept in Mozilla's CA certificate store. Please post a complete error message that is displayed when the issue occurs. If you are willing to troubleshoot it, continue as follows:

- close all browsers (check task manager to make sure that none is running)

- disable SSL scanning

- start logging with Process monitor

- enable SSL scanning

- launch Firefox and try to reproduce the issue.

When successfully reproduced, stop logging, compress the log, upload it to a safe location and pm me the download link.
