Eset Endpoint Security 5.0 Firewall Rules in Policy - Client Update Interval

Hello,

Having difficulty figuring out the best way to force a client update of the ERA policy when changing a firewall rule.  Is there a way to do this similar to forcing a client update of the anti-virus definitions?  If there is no way to force the client to update the firewall rule in the policy, what is the typical interval at which the client will download the change to the policy?

Hello,

 

I assume you use ERA v.5 as far as you have Endpoints of that version.

By default the Endpoints connect every hour to the ERA, but you can change the connection interval in the settings.

 

In the ERA v.6 you can send a wake-up call to the target systems as described in this KB article.
