Guest ferferi
Hi.After using the Eset Sirefef Cleaner, it asked for a reboot and I chose yes. When it rebooted, Windows can't start anymore. It asks me if I want to use Start-up Repair or Start Windows Regularly. When I choose the first one, it can't solve the problem. And the second one shows a blue screen and restarts the computer. What should I do?I'm using Windows 7 32-bit.Thank you for your helps.
mattspchelp 4
When starting your pc can you repeatedly press f8 until you receive a list of options starting with safe mode and select the option safe mode, using the up and down arrows, press enter and see if it boots if you get to windows at this stage post back. Administrators Marcos 4,932 Posted July 1, 2013 Administrators Share Posted July 1, 2013 Have you tried booting to Windows Recovery Console and running "Bootrec /fixmbr" and "Bootrec /fixboot"? After booting to Windows, please provide us with the following logs: - Sirefef cleaner log (should have been created as it was cleaning the malware) - SysInspector log - ESET Threat log / On-demand scanner log details if the threat was previously detected When done, compress the logs, upload the archive to a safe location and PM me the download link.
