May I know do you have any other security software installed in your system? It might be preventing ESET to load properly. Kindly wait for Marcos or other moderators to solve your issue.

Let's wait for the next service build of v8 which will likely address this issue with certain removable drives.

Does it mean there will be a module update coming soon?

No not a module, this is not "fixable" in any module, it's one of those problems they can't fix and release a new module, instead it will be included as a fix in the next build release of the product. It should be stated in the change-log once the build is released.

So it is a program update?

Yes exactly, e.g 8.0.304.0 --> 8.0.317.0....  First it will probably be available as a manual download from the website as usual, with possibility to update from within the GUI to follow later on.

What should I say. All of you perfectly explained this.

Even the link to my original report was already given, so there you should find everything you need.

Just another link as there is another explanation for the version numbers (because there was some confusion about this before): https://forum.eset.com/topic/3471-version-80304/
