KaewCYJ 0 Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 We installed ESET Server Security for Linux version 11.1.216.0 on SUSE Linux operating system version 15. But after the installation is complete, there is a notification real time protection non functional and web access protection is non-functional. How do we fix this?

Sec-C 6 Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 If your machine has "secure boot" enabled, you need to sign the eset kernel modules before you can use real time protection and web access protection. See https://help.eset.com/essl/11.1/en-US/secure_boot.html

Administrators Marcos 5,742 Posted December 9, 2024 Administrators Posted December 9, 2024 Yes, CentOS 7 does support Secure Boot. This feature is available because CentOS 7 is built on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, which includes support for UEFI Secure Boot. This means that the kernel and associated drivers are signed by a UEFI CA certificate, ensuring that only trusted software is loaded during the boot process. However, latest versions of ESET products don't support CentOS.
