Huge-Lighter-3486 2 Posted November 8 Posted November 8 I am unable to get ESET Antivirus working. Generally this was just an issue compilation that was easily fixed by installing gcc-12 library. Or if SecureBoot is enabled, sign the keys and it gets fixed. This time gcc-12 is installed. SB is disabled but still not working. Any recommendations. Logs are attached. ESET Staff Solution kurco 25 Posted November 11 ESET Staff Solution Posted November 11 Hi, according to provided logs, you are running kernel which was compiled by gcc-11 and this version is missing on your machine, therefore our product isn't able to compile RTP and WAP kernel modules. Kernel loaded during boot, there you can see used compiler (gcc 11.3.0). Linux version 5.19.0-35-generic (buildd@lcy02-amd64-020) (x86_64-linux-gnu-gcc (Ubuntu 11.3.0-1ubuntu1~22.04) 11.3.0 Error from product about missing compiler eea[1203]: ESET Endpoint Antivirus error: Error compiling kernel modules. Please install GCC version 11.3.0 which was used for kernel compilation. Installation of gcc-11 should resolve your issue. Regards, Kurco Huge-Lighter-3486 1 Quote
