Wi-fi is gone

I updated to Ver 18.0.12.0 and after restarting my laptop the Wifi is gone, I even can't see the button to turn it on anymore. I tried connecting to internet via ethernet cable and it doesnt detect it. I also restarted the laptop several times and tried restablishing the network settings and nothing happened. What can I do?

We have never been reported such issue and I'm not sure if it's technically even theoretically possible that installing an antivirus would remove wi-fi from the machine.

Does temporarily uninstalling ESET resolve the issue?

Perform a Win 10/11 Network Reset and see if that restores your Wi-Fi connection. How to do this is given in this article: https://smart-help.superloop.com/hc/en-us/articles/23900336313625-Reset-network-settings-on-Windows-10-Windows-11 .
