Administrators Marcos 5,742 Posted November 5, 2024 Administrators Posted November 5, 2024 Edge has been working fine for me and there have never been such reports of the issue so I assume it's not a general problem with Edge. If the problem goes away after uninstalling ESET and returns as soon as you install the latest version 18.0.2 from scratch with default settings while the browser is not running, please raise a support ticket for assistance with further troubleshooting of the issue.
itman 1,924 Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 This ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED also might be related to an Edge update problem. Almost every posting I have seen on the web related to this error recommends performing a Win Network Reset as follow; Quote Open the Settings app by pressing Windows + I keys or clicking on the gear icon in the Start menu. Click on Network & Internet on the left sidebar. Scroll down and click on Advanced network settings on the right pane. Under More settings, click on Network reset. A window will pop up explaining what will happen when you reset your network settings. Click on Reset now to proceed. You will be asked to confirm your choice. Click on Yes to reset your network settings. Your computer will restart automatically after the reset is complete. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftedge/forum/all/microsoft-edge-firewall-problem/2b66994d-2a01-4fc7-b064-19a6f2f80c1a
