I am writing to express extreme frustration with the persistent, distracting overlay icon that appears on every single video stream I watch using your product. This small, yet highly noticeable box constantly obstructs my viewing experience, forcing me to click a tiny "x" in an inconvenient location just to remove it.

This is unacceptable user interface design and must be addressed as a high priority usability issue.

Why this is a problem:

• Excessive Intrusiveness:

  The overlay is present on every stream, regardless of content, creating unnecessary visual clutter.
• Poor Placement:

  The icon is positioned on the side of the screen, directly in the line of sight, causing visual disruption.
• Lack of User Control:

  There is currently no option to disable this overlay permanently in settings, leaving users with no choice but to manually close it each time.

Solution:

• Implement a toggle option:

  Add a clear setting within the ESET interface to allow users to choose whether or not to display the streaming overlay.
• Respect User Preferences:

  If a user chooses to disable the overlay, ensure it remains hidden across all streaming platforms.

Unfortunately it is not clear what product you are referring to. Moreover, you have posted anonymously as a guest. I would recommend raising a support ticket. This is a support forum. If you want to request a new feature, it must be done through your local ESET distributor.
