Hi,

A co worker was using a mission critical website when ESET blocked it (not sure why since we've been using it for a long time).  Since she was working on her system, I figured I go into ESET PROTECT to unblock it.

Going into the computer's "Detection & Quarantine", the Detections table is empty.  The quarantine table has a list of unwanted applications as well as detected trojans.

As I can't seem to find the actual page that does that show the blocked urls, I wen tot the "Log collector" and downloaded the logs and found the urllog.dat file that mentions the URL (but being a binary file), there's really nothing to do with it.

So I went into the Policies and added the URL to the list of WhiteListed urls.

After a moment,  the co-worker could access the page.

I'm a little puzzled as to why the list of blocked urls aren't available in text form in the selected computer details page.  Did I miss it somewhere?

Any clarifications appreciate.

Thanks!

Ed

You can select and copy log records to clipboard as text on clients.

In ESET PROTECT you can generate a report with blocked urls and then select and copy the desired text to clipboard.

If the page blocking was caused by one of your web control rules, you might need to rise the "logging severity" of this rule. I think you need to set it to "warning" (or higher), if you want to see the Logs in Eset Protect.

Thanks @Marcos and @Sec-C  for the suggestions.   I didn't set any web control rules, so not sure why it's blocking it.  But after putting it in the whitelist, it's working now.
