"Stop on-demand scan" task not working

Hello support team!

I created a task in order to be able to stop scan of all types to the clients of our network.
The task run a cmd command with the following text:

eshell stop computer scans on-demand scan all

Even though that was working properly for our computers and I could stop both on-demand and scheduled scans, the task now is not working and I could not stop any of the scans running.
Any suggestions or ideas what might be going wrong?

Unfortunately you did not mention what ESET products started the on-demand scan you want to stop. Note that only server products support eshell.

Just now, Panagiotis Goudas said:

I started the scan through ESET Protect and I want the scan to run in ESET Endpoint Security.

This is not possible. Only server products support eshell.

Is it possible that this command used to work properly even for endpoint products?
Because I think that in the past I had tried the command again and it succeeded.

Yes I know that I can stop the scans locally but we had a couple of incidents that the system was totally crashed and we couldn't stop it through Endpoint's GUI.

So we want a solution that we can stop a scan through ESET Protect console.

As I wrote, eshell is not supported by Endpoint and has never been. Currently it is not possible to stop running scans in Endpoint remotely from ESET PROTECT. However, we track is as improvement for future versions.
