Tim_01 0
Hello Eset Product Team/Staff, We are using many Windows 10 machines without the support for Azure Code Signing, (we can't update them for several reasons). ESET version 16.2.15.0 is currently updates its modules and signatures without a issue. As I read an article EOL OF Version 16 is due on November 2024. Previously ESET extended Support for Windows 7 with version 16 (still supporting with signature and module updates if I am not mistaken). Our question is how how long you will support and provide Signature and Module updates for version 16.2.15.0 (Windows 10 Without ACS Support)? What are module updates? Your ESET product checks for new components, including product modules and Detection engine updates many times each day. Along with our other multilayered technologies (such as DNA detection, behavioral detection and blocking and machine learning), regular module updates help to ensure that you are protected against the latest known threats. •What are the different ESET product update and release types? •No new operating systems support will be provided. •No technical support or security and stability updates are available for these versions. •No new documentation will be created or updated. ESET Moderators Peter Randziak 1,173 Posted October 10 ESET Moderators Share Posted October 10 Hello @Tim_01, the date for the cut-off i.e. stopping the updates for v.16 hasn't been set, few weeks ago the v.14 was terminated. May I ask what prevents you from installing the updates bringing the Azure Code Signing support? P.S. if you have many machines, as you mentioned you probably should be using the ESET Endpoint products, having remote management capabilities.
