Jared 0
Hi, We have centrally managed firewall rules that apply when we're connected to a trusted network. In ESET for Windows I'm able to select that a particular network is trusted in the UI. In ESET V6 for OSX I was also able to configure specific interfaces such as ethernet or certain WIFI SSIDs to be trusted. Now in V8 there is no UI just a firewall toggle. How am I able to trust a network in V8? If the answer is to ask the administrator to do it, how can they make a blanket policy, are they supposed to list every home WiFI SSID? What about ethernet when one users ethernet maybe trusted yet another users isn't?
Jared 0
My admin has added a policy just for my machine to make the wired network trusted, it's still broken but I've got no way to diagnose or debug what's wrong. There is no visibility into which network I'm connected to, what rules are in use or why connections are being blocked. No UI and no log files, what am I supposed to do?
