Coolex 0
After running a few test on a Chromium based browser. I noticed that when I run the ProtonVPN extension ESET seemingly stops working to a certain extent. When checking on AMTSO Security Feature Checks. Everything fails when I have the VPN Browser extension running. Even after turning it off every check test keeps failing. Restarting the browser with the VPN off allows ESET to work properly and block everything on the check test page. Is there a way for me to be able to use the VPN extension and have ESET work with it??
itman 1,751
Refer to this posting in regards to split-tunnel use in ExpressVPN as an example to allow Eset to function properly: https://forum.eset.com/topic/42314-trying-to-add-eset-to-expressvpn-split-tunnelling-e-vpn-could-not-help-can-you/?do=findComment&comment=189202 . ProtonVPN also supports app VPN exclusion via split-tunneling option as shown here: https://protonvpn.com/support/protonvpn-split-tunneling . Add ekrn and egui to the 'Exclude apps/IPs from using VPN" list. Edited September 25 by itman
