karlmikaeloskar 6
Today my Mac updated from EES 8.0.7200.0 to 8.1.6.0 automatically even though automatic updates were disabled in ESET Protect. Correction: Automatic updates setting was disabled but not enforced in ESET Protect. It prompted me for a restart. After the restart the menu bar item did not start automatically so I launched EES from the applications folder. Now I was in an "Onboarding" wizard. My settings(policy) and license is managed through ESET Protect policy so the onboarding should not be necessary. It also prompted me for a network filter that is already there. ThreatTerminator 1
Same here. ESET really needs to get it together regarding ESET on Mac. This is just another time where I had to manually intervene in the latest series of updates... That's not why we pay a hefty premium for a managed solution. karlmikaeloskar 6
I should add that my network filter and permissions are managed by JAMF Pro profiles.
