Hello, dear forum participants. I encountered the following problem: When entering queries in the search bar of the Google Chrome browser, after pressing Enter, the following appears: There were problems loading this page: Error code: STATUS_BREAKPOINT.
It is noteworthy that the first query goes through normally, the second and subsequent queries give an error. This only happens in the Google browser or those based on it, I also tried in Brave. This does not happen in Mozilla.
I tried to figure out what was going on, scanned the computer for viruses and errors.
ESET Online Scanner found one threat and three unwanted applications. Before that, I scanned with other antiviruses.
After that, the problem did not go away. I began to disable extensions, focused on the Dark Reader extension. When the extension is enabled, queries do not go through and give an error, when the extension is disabled, queries go through normally.
I went to the site of this extension, at the bottom there are three links to social networks and a contacts tab, when I click on the first two, everything works fine, you follow the link. When you click on the contacts tab, nothing happens, although this should not happen.
If you open the same site in Mozilla, then when you click on the contacts tab, a new Google Chrome browser window opens. )))
Another anomaly: when you open a video on YouTube with the left mouse button, everything opens normally, if you right-click and select: open link in a new tab, the tab does not open, it moves out a little and returns back.
This can also happen with applications in Windows when you open them. Windows 11 system.

Since the issue is caused by the Dark reader extension, a solution is to keep the extension disabled or removed.

I think you are looking superficially, dark reader is one of the manifestations, when the application is turned off, all other problems still remain, so the problem is not in it. The source of the problem is somewhere else.
