ESET Inspect -- Mysql Server new installation

Recommended Posts

Hello together

I have a question:

I had to reinstall mysql server because the database was corrupt.

I also have no backup from eset inspect database.

Now i have removed the mysql server and installed it new.

But now the question: I have a running mysql server but no Database for inspect.

Is it possible that eset inspect creates the Database again without reinstall eset inspect?

I have not installed this system so I dont how it is at the beginning, then it also have no database

Thanks for the help!

So is there a way to say eset inspect server to start without database and then he creates automatically a new one.

When first installation of eset inspect its the same or not?

Or do I need to really new installate eset inspect server?

  • Administrators

Please try the following:

To rebuild the ESET Inspect database, you can follow these general steps:

  1. Stop the ESET Inspect Server Service:

    • Open the Command Prompt and run:
      net stop EiServerSvc

  2. Reinstall MySQL Server:

    • If your MySQL server was corrupted, reinstall it. Ensure you have a clean installation.
  3. Create a New Database:

    • Open the MySQL shell and create a new database for ESET Inspect:
      CREATE DATABASE enterpriseinspectordb;

  4. Reconfigure ESET Inspect:

    • During the initial setup of ESET Inspect, it should automatically create the necessary database schema. If you need to reconfigure it, you might need to run the installer again and follow the setup instructions.
  5. Start the ESET Inspect Server Service:

    • Once the database is set up, start the ESET Inspect Server service:
      net start EiServerSvc
