Cousin Vinny 6
I have Endpoint Security (v4.4.4) installed on an Android device. In the PROTECT console, component version status indicates that this is an outdated legacy version. The Android device however indicates that v4.4.4 is the most recent version. I discovered in the changelog there are two versions of this app - a Play Store version, and a direct-download version. The direct download version appears to be at v4.4.6 whereas the most recent Play Store version is v4.4.4. I uninstalled Endpoint Security, removed the device from PROTECT and then re-enrolled it. This process just invoked the Play Store and reinstalled everything to the same status as where I began. What do I have to do so that PROTECT identifies the correct version installed and stops reporting this as a security risk? Administrators Solution Marcos 5,277 Posted August 28 Administrators Solution Share Posted August 28 It's possible that the latest version is being rolled out in batches by Google Play and it will take some time until it's 100% offered to everybody. Please raise a support ticket to confirm my assumption or to find out the reason for the said behavior.
