Hi ESET Team,

I am wondering if you can tell me if it is possible to change the delimiter  in exported reports from a semi colon to a comma I see in the forum that this was mentioned as a future improvement back in 2018. Is this available yet?.- our client

We would like to ask if we have plan to integrate this function or changes that our client needs?

If changing the delimiter in regional settings doesn't take effect, the delimiter is hardcoded and cannot be changed.

Currently the delimiter is hardcoded and cannot be changed, however, I've asked the product manager to consider using the delimiter set in the system regional settings:

Hi Marcos,

I already provided your recommendation to our client, however he messaged us

The original request was that .csv files generated by ESET use a comma as a list separator. This is standard practice as per the definition of a .csv file. A CSV is a comma-separated values file.

I look forward to this being altered in future product releases. -can we have a roadmap of the integration of his request so that we will be able to response from him and he knows that it's on our roadmap

However, "CSV" formats vary greatly in this choice of separator character. In particular, in locales where the comma is used as a decimal separator, a semicolon, TAB, or other character is used instead.

Hi Marcos,

Last question, before tagging this as mark as solution, i just want to ask if the concern or features that our client want would be on the roadmap from our future releases? if yes can you give us at least time line, cause I think that is the only thing that our client want to know.

I was promised that we'll do our best to bring this setting in one of the future versions of ESET PROTECT as the priorities and resources allow.
