SBrown 4
Hi everyone, I’ve noticed that ESET is doing some amazing stuff with machine learning for cybersecurity. I was wondering if this technology could also be used for testing websites? It seems like it could really help make website security checks more effective and catch issues faster. Does anyone know if this is something ESET already does or could do in the future? I’d love to hear your thoughts! Thanks!
SBrown 4
ESET has the LiveGrid® reputation system, which is great. I think it could be enhanced to also generate website reputations. This could use factors like site registration date, traffic volume, and machine learning to score the trustworthiness of websites. If a site’s reputation is low, the ESET extension could display a warning when loading the page: “Warning! This website has a low reputation! Think twice before you put any sensitive information into the website!

itman 1,758
As far as AI use, Eset is deploying it but only on their commercial products: https://forum.eset.com/topic/41173-eset-launches-ai-advisor-to-enhance-threat-detection-and-response/ .
