Lockbits 11
Hi guys, I can't find the settings of LiveGuard and Firewall in policy in EP Cloud. Do we need to wait for an update to cloud instance? Thank you.

Lockbits 11
Hi @Marcos. Our EP was updated to version 5.4 but I still don't see the firewall or LiveGuard in policy editor in console. Is configuration module related to this update or it's different process? Thank you. Edited August 14 by Lockbits
Administrators Marcos 5,406 Posted August 15 Administrators Share Posted August 15 If you have ESET PROTECT on-prem, updating modules from the pre-release update channel should download the latest Configuration module.

Dmitry Tabolich 0
Marcos, could you please clarify something for me? Weren't such changes supposed to be implemented before the product's release? Due to this update, the ability to disable the Firewall through policies was affected, causing disruptions for many users. One of the proposed solutions is to disable the Firewall manually, which, in my opinion, feels like a joke from the developers. I thought the main goal was to ensure that updates do not negatively impact the operations of companies and that the deployment is smooth. However, it appears that a product was released that companies cannot fully configure.
Administrators Marcos 5,406 Posted August 20 Administrators Share Posted August 20 There was a kind of misunderstanding. ESET Endpoint Security for macOS v8 could be fully configured since the release. Even if you use ESET PROTECT and don't have the latest Configuration module yet, The latest Config module merely adds the macOS icon here. Lockbits 11
Hi Marcos, Thank you for the explanation. This configuration regarding firewall is going to be added to macOS Policy in EP? Because it's in Common features only.
