Activate product key in another country

G'day!

I'm new to NOD32 AV and it works perfect for me - it's faster than others I ever used (McAfee & Norton); UI is so~ easy to use; ... I really love it!

 

However, I have worry about the license: my friend bought the box version from China and I activated in Australia.

It is legit to activate a key from another country? Will I get banned?

I have bought the ESET Multi-Device Internet Security 5 PC, Mac+5 Android Devices 2 Yr License Key  in Australia , will this key can be activated in New Zealand?

Distributors in some countries may limit licenses for use only in their country. I'd suggest contacting ESET Australia to find out if it's possible.

The distributor is unsure about this,

before they said not work in NZ,  BUT when they saw the about post they said it should work..

Can you help to find out, it a download key card from Australia distributor.

Hi just want to make sure, do you asked the distributor or the seller?

If its the distributor, and the person you asked is the tech support guy, and they didn't know, i bet it can be used anywhere.

Because if the distributor put a country restriction on license they sell. At least the tech guy at the distributor will know.

Anyway inform me if its false information. As before I did encountered some license that are restricted for some country.
