kirk 0
i use a proxy service hidemya$$ and in the last couple of days eset is showing alerts saying "dns poisening attack" showing the opendns address 208.67.222.222Do I need to add this to a firewall rule so i won't see these? I have done a full dns flush using your tool and another. I have done a full scan with eset too. And I don't see the message until I connect to the proxy service. How do I stop the error? Administrators Marcos 4,919 Posted June 21, 2013 Administrators Share Posted June 21, 2013 This should be solved by adding the IP address to the list of addresses excluded from active protection in the zone setup.
ESET Staff CB530 70 Posted June 21, 2013 ESET Staff Share Posted June 21, 2013 Hi Kirk. You can take a look at part II of this Knowledgebase article for instructions to add an exclusion for an IP address as Marcos suggests. --CB
