TISec-Roland 0 Posted July 4 Posted July 4 Hello all, Some of our devices are showing "Last Connected: x days/weeks/months ago". We tried sending a "Wake-up call" command to no avail. Do we have to re-deploy the Management Agent to fix this issue? We are using the "Enable product auto-update" default policy" on all of our devices: And yet, there will be times where the ESET Management Agent will be shown as Outdated version. Is there any way to fix this?
ESET Staff MartinK 384 Posted July 11 ESET Staff Posted July 11 In case last connection time is older than a few minutes, and devices are running and are connected to the network it is required to analyze connectivity problems locally: possible methods how to proceed are mentioned in the documentation: https://help.eset.com/protect_cloud/en-US/fs_agent_connection_troubleshooting.html Regarding outdated status shown, this is most probably just a false information, based just on fact that if device is not connected for some time, PROTECT might be not aware that newest version is already installed on the device - so once devices's connectivity is resolved, outdated status should resolve, especially in case ESET Management Agent updated itself in the meantime. Also note there was a maintenance/hotfix release in last week, so all devices not connecting for some time might be falsely marked as outdated, until they do connect to PROTECT and update details of the installation.
