GDI 4 Posted July 1 Posted July 1 I've been doing some digging regarding the "advanced antispam scan" policy setting. From what I gather, it downloads additional data to help deter potentially malicious e-mails. I did find a few forum posts from @Marcos that, if I'm reading correctly, enabling this feature really doesn't do much, or doesnt have much impact on antispam evaluation. But these posts are fairly old. My questions are: 1. Am I misunderstanding what @Marcos said? 2. Is this still the case that "Advanced antispam scan" doesn't really do much? 2. Why is it offered if it really doesn't do much except increase bandwidth usage with additional downloads? Examples:
