Omertus 0 Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 Hello, I would like to ask, if there is any way to create user-based policy and not on the devices itself. I mean it like I've created users, that are assigned to their devices for better separation and easy finding the user of the PC in ESET PROTECT. But can I create specific policy to assing for the created user instead of the device? Like if the user get new PC, I'll assign the new PC to the specific user, and via management agent or endpoint it'll get the user's policy and got set up. Thanks for response, Omertus
Administrators Marcos 5,736 Posted June 26, 2024 Administrators Posted June 26, 2024 You could create dynamic groups for specific users and then assign desired policies to them:
Omertus 0 Posted June 26, 2024 Author Posted June 26, 2024 Okay that seems nice, but in the template of the dynamic group I would have to add a rule e.g. "is one of" and then the username of every single user right? So it'll be kinda big set of rules with OR statement right?
