Ransomware infection

We just had a problem with Ransomware, affecting a computer, as you mentioned before, it had Endpoit Security installed and it was not detected.

Upon reporting, the answer was that we did not have the version that protects against this type of threats. I have a doubt with your comment, what type of Eset Endpoint Security license is required?

Please supply the following from the affected machine for investigation:

1. Logs collected with ESET Log Collector
2. A handful of encrypted files (ideally Office documents)
3. The ransomware note with payment instructions.

What ransomware was used? Post the file suffix appended to the encrypted files.
