Enrico 3 Posted June 15, 2024 Posted June 15, 2024 If I click on a quarantined item and select "detection description" it opens the website https://go.eset.com/threatinfo?lng=1033&threat=Win64/ , but it redirects to https://www.virusradar.com/en/client-support/Win64/ that redirects to https://www.welivesecurity.com/en/about-eset-research/ , so no useful info about the threat. The website go.eset.com/threatinfo and the threats info has been discontinued? If so it's better to remove the "detection description"from the contextual menu. Best regards.
Administrators Solution Marcos 5,739 Posted June 15, 2024 Administrators Solution Posted June 15, 2024 Thanks for the heads-up. We'll probably remove the hyperlink or open a website with a general description of detections that may occur.
Swamp Yankee 8 Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 Yes, ESET's Virus Radar website was taken down on Feb 1, 2024. If you had gone there prior to that date the warning about it going bye bye was posted everywhere. ESETs Aryeh Goretsky posted about it on X from Infosec Purpleroses found out it was gone on Feb 2nd looking for Update Module numbers.
