Azure VM with ESET Server Security installed

Recommended Posts

We are gradually migrating our on-premise workloads to Azure.

I've built out a couple of servers and installed ESET Server Security on them.

We limit outbound traffic from these servers, using Network Security Groups preventing any access to the Internet, but obviously we need access to LiveGrid etc.

Having gone through the process when adding the FQDNs and IP addresses of all ESET resources to our on-premise firewall was nothing short of soul destroying.

Ideally, I'd like to have a pre-baked list that I can just ingest into an NSG and apply this to multiple servers.  Does such an "NSG friendly" list exist?

Is the information in ESET Knowledgebase Article #KB332, Ports and addresses required to use your ESET product with a third-party firewall of use?

Hi and thanks for the response.

The link you supplied is the resource that I used when creating the on-premise firewall rules previously, however the information is in a truly awful format for creating rules for NSGs in Azure.

While IP addresses are possible to include in an NSG, domains cannot be.
