The ESET Network Proxy keeps disconnecting in settings

ESET Endpoint Security (6.11.616.0) keeps telling me "web and email protection is non-functional".  I'm on the latest Mac OS (Sonoma 14.5).  After every reboot I need to re-enable the "Transparent Proxy"  How can this be corrected? This problem occured since installing ProtonVPN.

I want to use both products.
