Microbe 6
Hi Team, We have a potential MSP who is running the Datto Plugin. They need to run the script using Datto for activation. However the parameters are asking for License Key. Which an MSP doesn't see in EMA, only sees the Public ID. How can an MSP obtain the License keys for deployment? FYI partner has informed us that "Datto has changed A LOT since you guys did the help file.." so you may need to revisit and update documention: https://help.eset.com/direct_endpoint_management/datto/en-US/?download_component_comstore.html
ESET Staff IggyPop 22 Posted May 28 ESET Staff Share Posted May 28 Hi @Microbe, we are actually preparing a new version of the Datto Plugin which should be out during upcoming months. So the documentation will change with that being said in order to do the activation you need to do following: Quote ESET Business Account (EBA) license account username, password, and public ID required. When entering the aforementioned information, separate each with a space (for example, support@domain.com password XXX-XXX-XXX). For MSP licenses, each customer license must be added individually under their site. But essentially, you have to do the same as for EBA but use the EMA2 credentials. Thanks, Ingemar
