Dayton Austin 0
I cannot move the file that is the launcher for the Marvel Rivals video games from quarantine. Actually I cannot exclude it from scanning which flags it and prevents me from being able to load in at all. This has been a TERRIBLE experience and as someone who has to make content for a portion of my income this is keeping me from making money. It is LITERALLY a Marvel Game put out by the company. This is truly insane. I submitted the issue with analytics but this is time I am losing because of a short coming in the software.
Administrators Marcos 5,392 Posted May 13 Administrators Share Posted May 13 It is possible to create an exception for any detection in case of a false positive. We'll need more information so we kindly ask you to provide logs collected with ESET Log Collector.
Chris4357 0
Hi, I'm also having this same issue. It appears HIPS is blocking the Launcher from executing properly. I added it as an exclusion, however, it still blocks this application from loading Example log, 5/13/2024 5:51:16 PM;F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Marvel Rivals\MarvelRivals_Launcher.exe;Start new application;F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Marvel Rivals\MarvelGame\Marvel.exe;Blocked;Block execution of known bad files according to LiveGrid;;441625BD1E259058669B1EAAC05607B877C04648
Administrators Marcos 5,392 Posted May 14 Administrators Share Posted May 14 It is weird that the file was not detected as Suspicious object in the first place and was blocked only upon execution. Please provide logs collected with ESET Log Collector for perusal.
