yongsua 16
Hi, my friend got an alert from ESET and it named the Paint.net setup.exe file as PUA and moved it to quarantine. Is this a false positive or the setup file contains some sort of PUA file? In our experience, the application is safe to be used. Thanks and Regards. Solution SweX 871 Posted February 9, 2015 Solution Share Posted February 9, 2015 (edited) "or the setup file contains some sort of PUA file?" Unless things has changed then I think that is correct, so it is not a FP. You can exclude the app from being detected as a PUA if you feel it is worth using it. But keep detections of PUAs enabled for future detections. Edited February 9, 2015 by SweX
