I had several messages in my ESET Protect On-Prem console. They are showing 441 times on 148 distinct computers. These are pointing to an "MSIL/Microsoft.Bing.A," which, from what I can tell, is a false positive. These are pointing to an MS Edge update, which makes sense since MS released an MS Edge update on April 3, 2024 (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/microsoft-edge-relnotes-security). Will a new definition be sent out to resolve this in the future? Should I create an exclusion for this so this update can be installed before this is resolved from the ESET end? The Edge update addresses Chrome security fixes.

Thanks, Rob U.

Yes, the best would be to create a detection exclusion. The detection / classification is correct.

Will there be a definition update to resolve this?

There's nothing to resolve since the detection / classification as a potentially unwanted application is correct.
