Registry Entry to suppress CYBORG splash screen

Recommended Posts

I have a mix of about 150 to 200 Windows Servers and desktops that I would like to suppress the Cyborg Splash screen on. I can log in and F5 to the screen to turn this off but do not have the time to log onto the 200 machines to do so. Is there a registry key setting I can include in a GPO to do this?

If you are referring to the splash-screen displayed when ESET is starting, you can disable it in the advanced setup:

This seems to work for our Windows Server 2016 but not on our Windows Server 2022 where the frankly creepy cyborg splash screen will still show up.

It's a per-user setting. If I remember correctly, configuring it via a policy will set it for all users:

It was set by the central policy, but seems to be ignored by Windows Server 2022

I was unable to reproduce it on Windows Server 2022. The setting is controlled by a policy alright:

Please raise a support ticket for help with troubleshooting if it doesn't work for you even with the latest version of ESET Server Security v11.
