natyutzman 0
I have a mix of about 150 to 200 Windows Servers and desktops that I would like to suppress the Cyborg Splash screen on. I can log in and F5 to the screen to turn this off but do not have the time to log onto the 200 machines to do so. Is there a registry key setting I can include in a GPO to do this? Administrators Marcos 5,392 Posted February 24 Administrators Share Posted February 24 Are you referring to ESET's splash screen in ESET Endpoint?
Number23 0
I would also like to see this disabled. The slow fade splash screen is just an annoyance I can live without.
Administrators Marcos 5,392 Posted February 29 Administrators Share Posted February 29 If you are referring to the splash-screen displayed when ESET is starting, you can disable it in the advanced setup:
ITDWP 0
This seems to work for our Windows Server 2016 but not on our Windows Server 2022 where the frankly creepy cyborg splash screen will still show up.
Administrators Marcos 5,392 Posted March 1 Administrators Share Posted March 1 It's a per-user setting. If I remember correctly, configuring it via a policy will set it for all users:
ITDWP 0
It was set by the central policy, but seems to be ignored by Windows Server 2022
Administrators Marcos 5,392 Posted March 2 Administrators Share Posted March 2 I was unable to reproduce it on Windows Server 2022. The setting is controlled by a policy alright: Please raise a support ticket for help with troubleshooting if it doesn't work for you even with the latest version of ESET Server Security v11.
