Ming Chou 0
Hi, I am wondering if it is possible to remove license from clients that have a last connection time of X minutes/hours/days/months. Is it also possible to grant a license when the client has an active connection time? We always have to keep track which computers are being forced out. Our other department reimages multiple computers daily and do not deactivate ESET first. Therefor i am looking to automate the license removing and granting process. Your reply is highly appreciated. Thanks.
Administrators Solution Marcos 5,250 Posted February 21 Administrators Solution Share Posted February 21 In EBA you can enable automatic deactivation of clients that have not connected in a specific time period: This will free unused seats that you can use in a software activation task then. E.g. you can create a dynamic group with not activated clients and assign a software installation task to the DG so that clients who will fall in the DG will run the task automatically,
Ming Chou 0
Thanks, i have set this to 7 days. Is the removal process automated? Because i still see devices in EBA that have a "last seen" over 7 days.
