ESET IS hasn't updated in 8 days

Hello.

I've cleared the update cache, and I've also tried to manually kick off the update.  The "Updating product" screen appears (plz see attached image) for many minutes. When I click "Cancel Update" I get the "Module update failed - Download interrupted by user" (plz see attached image). 

I am on a fiber connection so most things download pretty rapidly. I haven't blocked ESET from phoning home (if that's even possible) and I am set for auto updating.

Is this something that the ESET server maintenance, that occurred a couple of days ago, I believe on Saturday, Feb. 17, was meant to resolve?

If I do end up having to reinstall ESET Internet Security, will my firewall rules still be intact?

There's some kind of a network connection issue.

Please carry on as follows:

  1. Enable advanced logging under Help and support -> Technical support
  2. Run update and reproduce the issue
  3. Stop logging
  4. Collect logs with ESET Log Collector and upload the generated archive here.

Well that is certainly strange. They made me accept in order to "restore" my Internet which has never stopped working? So this sounds like I am barking up the wrong tree if CenturyLink is not allowing my ESET Internet to grab the download, that's certainly not an ESET issue.
