Josellv99 0
Good afternoon, I hope you are well. I would like to know if there is a way to only allow access to my company's corporate sharepoint and block all the rest using ESET PROTECT CLOUD. Greetings
Administrators Marcos 5,278 Posted February 1 Administrators Share Posted February 1 You could use Web Control to block all categories and create a permissive url-based rule for the urls you want to allow.
Josellv99 0
@Marcos The problem with that is that when I block by category and allow via URL, the resources of the website allowed by URL do not load correctly, as we have seen in the past in this ticket. Administrators Marcos 5,278 Posted February 2 Administrators Share Posted February 2 Yes, it's not possible to block just the url you want to allow but also urls from which the allowed url loads other resources from.
Josellv99 0
@Marcos So you can't do what I'm requesting? Block ALL online storage sites such as Google Drive, One Drive, SharePoint etc. and allow access to the corporate Sharepoint? Is there any alternative that can do something similar to what I propose? Administrators Marcos 5,278 Posted February 6 Administrators Share Posted February 6 The solution was explained above. You must create permissive rules for the urls that you want to allow, including those where your company's Sharepoint loads resources from and block everything else. Josellv99 0
Perfect, I'm going to try that again... It didn't work in the past, a website like sharepoint must load hundreds of resources.
