Eset Internet Security - Error MSI.1923 when I'm trying to install ESET

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, I'm getting error MSI.1923 when I'm trying  to install ESET on my Windows 11.

I was using ESET on Windows 10. I clean install Windows 11, now I'm trying to install on the new system and I'm getting this error.

One time the error changes to 1920 then comeback to 1923

I already tried to :

- Run ESET Uninstaller in Safe Mode (several times switching between normal and safe mode trying to reinstall)

- Give Rights in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control

- Add ServicesPipeout at 120000 (REG_DWORD) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control

- Run Eset Installation Fixer with all commands

- Run ESET with admin rights or In Safe Mode (don't start in this mode)

- Copy Installation FIle to C:/ then Run but I'm still getting this error

I don't know what to do you right now. Here's my Eset Log Collector File.

Thanks.

It's weird that the services.exe process didn't even attempt to start ekrn and no error is reported. It reads a description of the ekrn process from the registry and that's all. I've noticed Malwarebytes to be running. Could you try temporarily uninstalling it? Also please collect fresh logs with ESET Log Collector but make sure to include also a SysInspector log which was missing last time and I could not check what other software you have installed.

Please try temporarily removing SimpleWall which probably prevented ESET SysInspector from retrieving information about files from ESET LiveGrid servers. Also the log shows that Malwarebytes' drivers are still loaded. Please temporarily uninstall Malwarebytes. If you decide to use it, make sure that you don't enable its real-time protection.

Should the problem persist, provide a fresh SysInspector log which should then contains also LiveGrid data about files if SimpleWall was blocking it before.

The fact is, I installed Malwarebytes because Eset refused to install. So the problem was the same before I installed Malwarebytes and maybe SimpleWall but I'm sure I desactived SimpleWall firstly.
