Reason for "Potentially Dangerous Content" warning

Recommended Posts

I am trying to access a website of a partner of ours and got the warning "Access to the web page was blocked by ESET Endpoint Antivirus.  The web page is on the list of websites with potentially dangerous content." but no reason is given.  Where can I find this out so I can inform them ?

The site is httx://www.superiorcu.org

You can view how a website it categorized by typing the URL into the form field in the following Knowledgebase article:

hxxp://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN141#miscat-iframe

The website you mentioned is categorized as "Banking", so I would be suspicious that it is a phishing site or there is some other issue with it. You can report it using the same Knowledgebase article and our malware researchers will check it out and if the PUA is wrong, they will promptly fix it.

Just FYI, I checked httpx://www.superiorcu.org/accounts/ and that isn't blocked.

UPDATE: Looks like it has been resolved and the main URL can be accessed.

That's an interesting website though, the images are really low res and then I came across this: https://www.superiorcu.org/poodle-vulnerability/  and typos and such throughout. You may want to mention that to them. Check out this older BBC article on why spelling matters.
