Random characters being typed into the File name input field of the Save As dialog box in Microsoft Edge

Random characters being typed into the File name input field of the Save As dialog box in Microsoft Edge but not Firefox (Windows 10).  If I disable Keyboard Protection in ESET the problem is resolved.  But then I don't have Keyboard Protection.

Any suggestions?

Please switch to the pre-release update channel in the advanced setup and see if the issue goes away after the Banking and payment protection module updates to v1331 (not yet available). It should address some of the reported scrambler issues. In the mean time, you can disable Keyboard protection as a temporary workaround.

I have the same problem but my browser is Chrome
I am using ESET Internet Security 17.0.13

Did you try to switch to the pre-release update channel in the advanced update setup?

Same problem here since 2 days (Edge & Chrome)
Very annoying.
Any date for this bug to be patched by regular channel ?

Does switching to the pre-release update channel make a difference?

Fix is released on all update channels so there is no need to change settings. If you have a problem after module update, please restart (all running) browsers or PC, if browser restart doesn't work. Otherwise let us know that issue still persist, ideally with ELC log from affected PC.
