pb17 0
I am using ESET NOD32 Antivirus 16.2.15.0 I have a batch file that I use for testing purposes that I wish keep, and I've added it to my exclusion list, but NOD32 keeps flagging it as "THREAT FOUND" whenever my backup program accesses it. when I select "Advanced Options," the options for "exclude from detection" or "exclude signature from detection" are both greyed out grayed out. Why can't I select those options?
Administrators Marcos 5,394 Posted November 2, 2023 Administrators Share Posted November 2, 2023 Only potentially unsafe and unwanted applications can be excluded from within the alert window. Is there any reason why you blurred the detection name? What threat was detected? Could you post the whole record pertaining to the detection from the Detections log? pb17 0
Here is the object in question. I do wish to retain it as I use it for ongoing research. How am I able to prevent eSet from scanning this? I've excluded the folder, so that works, however, Volume Shadow Copies keep getting triggered. Administrators Solution Marcos 5,394 Posted November 21, 2023 Administrators Solution Share Posted November 21, 2023 You can create a detection exclusion for it:
pb17 0
Thank you, that helped. It would be nice to include the path, but there are so many Shadow copies showing up that I can't list them all.
