How to deactivate on-access-scan

Recommended Posts

Hi,

we are using ESET Endpoint Security on a Linux MiNT system. Due to special requirements we need to deactivate the on-access-scan feature which seems to be started right after the installation, but need to be able to perform an on-demand-scan.

Stopping the eea service is not a solution, since this service is required for the on-demand-scan.

Does anyone have a hint for me? Thanks in advance,

Stefan

Where did you create this screenshot?

i have the suspicion that the previous sysadmin did not install ESET in the correct way to make management easy.

Best wishes,

Stefan

We have a license that will end in August 2024 and that includes ESET for Linux Mailservers. As far as I understand, it is not possible to use the ESET Protect Management Solutions (whether cloud or on-prem) with the previous products?

This is unrelated to the original question. As for ESET Mail Security for Linux, it reached EOL long ago and we don't currently offer any such product. Please contact your local ESET distributor.
