I get "username and/or password invalid" when trying to update the signature database.

Is it the end of the SysRescue support or is it temporary glitch?

You can still get it through the wayback engine here:

While they announced EOL, I've no idea what's actually "End of life" about it.  Or why support has been dropped.  Or what, if any functional replacement is supported/recommended

"reached EOL and is not supported / updated any more."

It seems we are owed a better explanation than "You're dropped". This is like my first girlfriend.....
