Does anyone know what could be causing this and what could fix it?

Appears to be related to integration to the context menu. Please try uninstalling ESET and installing the latest version 16.2.15 from scratch. Should the problem persist, please raise a support ticket as an application dump from the crash will be needed for perusal.
